Where was Chandrayaan-3 launched from?

On 14 July 2023, Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Its successful landing took place on 23 August 2023 near the Moon’s south pole. On 22 July 2019, India’s Chandrayaan-2 mission was successfully launched by the GSLV Mk III-M1 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre located at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. This was the first operational flight of the GSLV Mk III-M1 rocket. It may be noted that Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the Moon’s surface on 23 August 2023. Thus, India became the fourth country in the world to achieve this feat.
