Where did Mahatma Buddha’s ‘Mahaparinirvana’ take place?

Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon at Sarnath. After that, he went to Kapilavastu, Rajgriha, Vaishali and the Kosala kingdom for the propagation of Buddhism. Buddhism was propagated the most in the Kosala kingdom. King Prasenjit of Kosala also became a disciple of Buddha along with his family. While preaching, Buddha reached Pava, the capital of the Mallas. There he stayed in the mango grove of a blacksmith named Chunda. Chunda offered him Sukaramaddava to eat; as a result, he suffered from raktatisara (bloody diarrhoea) and severe pain. Even after this suffering, he reached Kushinara (Kasia), the capital of the Malla republic. Here, in 483 B.C., at the age of 80, he passed away.
