## Page 23 The first Integrated Check Post in Bihar was established on 7 April, 2018. In August, 2009, the Government of India, through the Ministry of External Affairs, gave approval for providing financial assistance for construction at Birgunj and Biratnagar in Nepal. This Integrated Check Post at Birgunj (Raxaul–Birgunj) was jointly inaugurated by the Prime Ministers of India and Nepal on 7 April, 2018, whereas the Biratnagar (Jogbani–Biratnagar) Integrated Check Post was inaugurated on 21 January, 2020. The world’s first ‘Gender Literature Festival’ was organised in Patna, Bihar, in April, 2017. The main objective of this festival was to provide a platform for exchanging and sharing ideas and to understand the experiences of renowned personalities in the field of gender literature.
