What is meant by 'Rule of Law' or 'Supermacy of law'?

“Rule of Law” or “Supremacy of Law” means one law for all and one judicial system for all. In general, it implies that all persons are equal before the law and no one is above the law. Also, the State cannot discriminate against any person on the basis of religion, caste, sex, or place of birth. Under Fundamental Rights, Article 14 of the Indian Constitution provides the right to equality before the law and equal protection of the laws.
