Explanation
The Waghera Revolt was carried out against the British government in 1818. It took place in Baroda. The Gaekwads of Baroda, with the help of the British army, tried to collect higher taxes from the Bagheras, due to which the Waghera chiefs revolted. They also attacked British territories during 1818–1819. This revolt ended around 1820.
