## Page 39 Emergency provisions are contained in Part XVIII of the Constitution of India, from Article 352 to Article 360. If the Proclamation of Emergency is approved by both Houses of Parliament, then the Emergency remains in force for 6 months, and it can be extended for an indefinite period with the approval of Parliament for each further period of 6 months.
