The Moplah Movement of 1921 was a branch of the —
aKhilafat Movement✓ Correct
bRevolt of 1857
cSwadeshi Movement
dNon-Cooperation Movement
Explanation
The movement of the Moplah (Mappila) tenants of Malabar in the Kerala province was mainly related to rent and eviction. The zamindars evicted them from the land whenever they wished and collected arbitrary rent as they pleased. The Khilafat Movement was also taking root. The situation became such that it was difficult to differentiate between meetings of the Khilafat Movement and those of the tenants. In this way, both movements merged into each other.
