On 28 July, 2000, the Central Government announced the new National Agricultural Policy. Under this new policy, the concept of the Rainbow Revolution was presented. Under it, directly or indirectly, all revolutions related to the agricultural sector were included; for example—Green Revolution, White Revolution, Yellow Revolution, Blue Revolution, Red Revolution, Golden Revolution, Brown Revolution, and Silver Revolution.
