Explanation

Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya was among the most eminent leaders of the Hindu Mahasabha, and he presided over the Hindu Mahasabha session held at Banaras in 1923. In the same Banaras session, movements such as the Shuddhi movement were welcomed. He began the publication of ‘Abhyudaya’ (in Hindi) and ‘The Leader’ (in English), and he also served as editor of newspapers such as ‘Hindustan’ and ‘The Indian Union’.
