Explanation
The objective of ‘Operation Meri Saheli’ is to enhance the safety of women passengers in trains. The Railway Protection Force started it as a pilot project in September 2020 in the South Eastern Railway Zone, and it was expanded from 17 October 2020 to all railway zones and Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.
