Explanation
Soon after Ghori’s victories, the Iqta system was established in North India. In India, Muhammad Ghori granted the first Iqta to Qutbuddin Aibak. From 1192 to 1206 AD, Aibak administered the conquered parts of North India as Ghori’s representative. During this period, Aibak also expanded Turkish power in North India.
