Explanation

As per the data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India’s trade balance (in goods and services) in December, 2022 was estimated at (-) 11.98 billion US dollars. During FY 2024-25 (April–March), India’s total exports were 820.93 billion US dollars, while total imports during the same period were 915.19 billion US dollars. That is, for the said period, India’s balance of trade was recorded at (-) 94.26 billion US dollars.
