On 13 February, 2022, the National Coordinator of the Ramayan Research Council and Mahamandaleshwar of the Juna Akhara, Swami Virendranand Ji Maharaj, announced the installation of the world’s tallest statue (251 feet) of Mata Sita at Sitamarhi. Along with the statue, a digital museum, a research institute, and a study center based on the life of Mata Sita will also be constructed. Note—The Ramayan Research Council has shown the height of the statue as 251 feet in its gallery, whereas some sources have erroneously mentioned its height as 251 meters.
