B.P.S.C. School teacher/Headmaster 10.12.2023
In a school, students decided to plant trees in and around the school to reduce air pollution. It was decided that the number of trees to be planted by each section of each class would be twice the class in which they are studying. If there are classes 1 to 12 in the school and there are two sections in each class, then find out how many trees were planted by the students.
a312✓ Correct
b310
c308
dMore than one of the above
eNone of the above
Explanation
Total number of classes = 12 $\because$ Number of sections in each class = 2 $\because$ Number of trees to be planted by each section is twice that of the class. $\therefore$ As per the question Total number of trees planted by students = $\frac{12 \times (12 + 1)}{2} \times 4$ = $12 \times 13 \times 2 = 312$ tree
