Explanation

The first All-India Congress Socialist Conference was organized by the Bihar Socialist Party in May, 1934 at Patna under the leadership of Jayaprakash Narayan. This conference was presided over by Acharya Narendra Dev. The first annual session of the All-India Socialist Congress Party was held in October, 1934 at Bombay under the chairmanship of Sampurnanand. In this meeting, the National Executive (Working Committee) of the Socialist Congress was constituted, and Jayaprakash Narayan was its General Secretary.
